![]() They were very quick to get back to me when I emailed to reserve a table. By the time we left an hour or so later most of the tables were full as there are only a handful available. We decided to book based on previous reviews and when we got there at 7.20pm ish we were one of two couples. There are a couple of options if you don't want to eat meat but the majority of the small, but very well executed menu, is seafood and meat based. I have to say this looks quiet from the outside but is worth the meal and I would definitely return. My only issue with this was having not seen the price or ingredients should you have an allergy (although I don't!). We would have happily had lobster or mussels but we had eaten seafood the night before! We were then shown the 4 options for dessert and chose from the plate which was then taken away to be prepared. I had a pasta with truffles and beef with cream sauce and my husband had pork which I tried and it was delightful. The food was delicious and really nicely flavoured. There was also a TV screen showing something in the corner. They are stood just behind the glass next to some seats so it can feel quite close but they never got too over bearing. It is very quaint and there are friendly staff who are very attentive. I saw a lady order a lobster pasta dish and the lobster was prepared on the spot from what I believe was a live lobster when I saw it being prepared. It is all cooked to order, which I could see as we were sat next to the open kitchen downstairs. with soft drinks and it came to just over 70 euros.Īs with many Maltese restaurants, if you want seafood and rabbit this place is going to tick that box.
